Get Detailed Information
Porcelain and Zirconia Coating is the complete covering of a tooth with an aesthetic material, usually made of porcelain. In order to apply a coating, a 1 mm cut must be made around the tooth. Its purpose is to beautify, strengthen and protect the tooth.
Crown can be done in the following cases:
- To restore a large filling in cases where there is insufficient dental support
- To prevent weak teeth from breaking
- As a superstructure for a dental implant
- To cover broken, deformed or discolored teeth
Which material is most suitable for Porcelain and Zircon Veneers?
Your dentist will evaluate the condition of your teeth and make a decision on this issue for you. The most preferred materials today are completely porcelain veneers or metal-supported porcelain veneers. The difference between them is that completely porcelain veneers are more aesthetic.
How long does it take to make Porcelain and Zirconia Veneers?
The veneer procedure is completed in an average of 3 appointments. If it needs to be done quickly, it can be completed in 2 appointments. There should be 2-3 days between appointments. Your dentist will prepare your tooth as needed, clean any decayed areas, and take measurements to obtain a complete model of the tooth. After your veneer is made according to the model obtained, it is placed in place.
Once you and your dentist are satisfied with its appearance and position, the veneer is permanently bonded.

How to maintain coatings?
You should brush your teeth twice a day and floss once. To prevent the crowns from breaking or damaging them, it is necessary to avoid hard foods and objects (such as broken shelled foods). As in all cases, routine visits to your dentist will extend the life of the crowns.
What does a completed coating look like?
The primary goal is for the veneer to resemble your natural teeth as much as possible. To achieve this, a veneer is made that matches the color, shape, chewing and dimensions of both your natural and artificial teeth.
Why is a bridge needed?
They are essential for your appearance, dental health, and dental and jaw functions. A bridge helps maintain the natural shape of your face and supports your lips and cheeks. The loss of a molar can make your face look older and more worn-out. More importantly, not replacing missing teeth can compromise oral and dental health. Each tooth is designed to complement the other. When a tooth is lost, the other teeth move or tilt over time into the space created by the missing tooth. The tooth in the opposite jaw also extends into the space. These unusual tooth movements cause tension in both the tooth and the gum. In addition to all this, damage occurs to the gum and bone tissues. Since normal and natural tooth contacts are disrupted, and therefore physiological cleaning is prevented, teeth become prone to decay.
What is a Bridge Prosthesis?
What exactly is a bridge prosthesis?
It is a treatment method based on the principle of cutting and covering the neighboring teeth to fill the gaps that occur in the case of multiple tooth loss. Bridges are bonded onto the cut natural teeth.
How should we protect the bridge?
It is very important to maintain healthy teeth in our mouth. We need to brush at least twice a day and clean them with interdental cleaners. Cleaners help remove the sticky layer of bacteria we call plaque.
They cause plaque, gum disease and tooth decay. If the tooth or the bone holding the tooth is damaged in any way, the dental bridge may lose its support. It is necessary to clean especially the area around the bridge, under it and the connection areas with the natural tooth. Dental floss and special brushes will help us reach these areas. Most importantly, you should visit your dentist regularly. Remember that the dentist factor in the planning and installation phase of the bridge is the most important factor that determines the life of the bridge.
