Because implants are not teeth, teeth are doomed to be lost within a certain period of time as a result of poor oral hygiene.<\/p>\n<h2>The Link Between Implants and Oral Hygiene<\/h2>\n<p>If oral hygiene is poor, the gums around the implants can become inflamed. Due to this poor hygiene, the bone tissue around the implants can sometimes be damaged, leading to bone loss and inflammation.
