In order to overcome this fear, our patients first\u00a0<strong>to the dentist<\/strong>\u00a0It is very important to trust.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from that, it is extremely important for them to know that implants are not a painful operation. Implants are placed into the bone with minor oral surgery methods and can be done painlessly with anesthesia, like tooth extraction.<\/p>\n<p>Even though patients know this, they may continue to be afraid. In order to eliminate fear, our patients can be given sedatives and relaxing drugs before the implant, which we call premedication.
