What Happens?<\/h2>\n<p>The overall effect of osteoporosis on teeth as it progresses in the body is very minimal.<\/p>\n<p>In other words, the bone generally likes the load range that we call optimum, and as long as you give that load range, the bone will live. It is the same with teeth. If too much load is given to the teeth, the tooth will leave the bone and the implant. For example, there are patients who clench their teeth, they grind their teeth day and night, this is excessive load.<\/p>\n<p>In such patients, there may be tooth loss and bone loss may occur around the implants.
