During the installation of dental implants, the area is numbed with local anesthesia, so patients do not feel anything.
How Do Patients Feel When a Dental Implant Is Installed?
After the implant, a slight pain of perhaps two or three out of ten can be considered normal. If the pain is at a level of five or six out of ten, the first day will be spent with very mild complaints, with the painkillers taken beforehand.
The next day, no pain is normally felt. Afterwards, patients do not experience any sensation related to the bone around the implant.
